Can I make changes to my reservation?
If you cancel more than 28 days in advance, you can either rebook for a future available date, receive a full refund, or get a voucher for a future stay. Please note, refunds may take up to 10 business days and will be issued to your original payment method.
For cancellations made 14 to 28 days before your arrival date, you can either move your stay to a future date or receive a voucher equal to the amount paid.
Cancellations within 14 days of your arrival date will be charged the full booking amount.

How can I get to Korkhouse by train?
From Gillingham train station, it's a 5-minute taxi ride or a 10-minute bike ride.
Direct trains from London Waterloo to Gillingham take approximately 2 hours.
Templecombe & Bruton also have train stations however they are slightly further away.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3pm, and early arrivals can be accommodated if possible.
Check-out is at 11am, and punctuality is appreciated to avoid additional charges.
How do I find Korkhouse and where do I park?
You will receive an email prior to your stay with helpful a information pack which includes a WHAT3WORDS and Google Maps link.
The parking is located approximately 15 meters from your stay.

How many people can stay in Korkhouse?
Korkhouse accommodates 2 adults only, and group bookings or children are not accepted.
Can I swim in the pond/stream?
Please do not swim, drink or go too near the water's edge. The sinking mud poses a serious risk to your safety.
How does the composting toilet work?
We have a composting toilet in our cabin for eco-friendly waste management. It works by breaking down human waste into compost material, which is then safely used for fertilizing non-edible plants. It's odorless, environmentally conscious, and easy to use.

What should I pack for my stay at Korkhouse?
Pack according to the UK weather report for the duration of your stay.
We recommend bringing wellies if it's wet and walking boots for exploring.
Plan to bring food and drink with you, alternatively the nearest shops are a 5 minute drive away, 10 minute cycle or 20 - 40 minute walk away.
We provide bed linens, towels, and basic toiletries for your stay. We also provide coffee, tea and basic seasoning for cooking.
Is there mobile phone reception at Korkhouse?
Yes however, mobile phone reception can be limited in some rural areas.
We recommend connecting to our wifi to make phone calls for a clearer line.
Is there Wi-Fi available in the cabin?
Korkhouse has a 5G EE Wifi Router with medium internet speeds. You'll be able to watch a movie easily but large downloads might take a while. 1 to 5mb/s.
Can I fish in the pond or nearby waters?
Fishing is not permitted, but there are fisheries in the local area.
Is there heating in Korkhouse during colder months?
Yes, Korkhouse is equipped with a wood fired log burner to keep you cozy during colder seasons.
How do I use the long burner
